Dinner on Saturday Evening during the Festival.
Travel Arrangements
The Society has made special arrangements with Fair Winds Travel, Delta
Airlines and Marriott Corporation to simplify your travel plans and to save
you money. All participants are encouraged to make air travel arrangements
through the exclusive travel agent of ASOPA and ASOPAF. Call Ruth at Fair

if your reservations are place by March 31, 2000. (You may also choose to

Lodging
The Midtown Marriott Hotels in New York City have each allocated a number
of rooms for The American Society of Portrait Artists for the Festival period
of Thursday, June 1 to Saturday, June 3. A special
discounted rate has been arranged at each hotel. Call
the hotel directly and state that you are with The American Society of Portrait
Artists. The special rates are good through March 31, 2000.

Room Sharing
If you are attending the Festival alone and wish to share a room and expense
with another person, the Society will provide you with the names of other

Awards Dinner
The 2000 Portrait Arts Festival will be in the main dining room of the prestigious
New York Athletic Club with a beautiful view of Central Park. The New York
Athletic Club is located at 180 Central Park South, 59th Street. (Coat and
Tie Required). |

Festival Tuition. You may pay the full
tuition of $325 when you register, or you may make a $100 deposit,
with the balance due by April 30, 2000.
Awards Dinner Tickets. Tickets for the Saturday evening
awards dinner are purchased separately ($65). Non-participating
guests are invited to attend the awards dinner and tickets for
them will be available for purchase.
Balances Due. All balances due must be paid by April
30, 2000. You may charge these amounts to your Visa or Mastercard
account. Tax Deduction. The full cost of the Festival, plus
travel expenses, meals and lodging may qualify as tax deductible
if you use the information obtained at the Festival in your
professional work.
Cancellation. If your plans change and you are forced
to cancel your reservation, you may do so any time through April
30, 2000 and receive a full refund. If you cancel after April
30, your tuition will be refunded minus the $100 registration
fee.
