FOUR UNFORGETABLE DAYS
- Four exciting, jam-packed days in fabulous New York-art capital of the world-studying portrait painting with some of the nation's leading professional portrait artists. Our principle venue will be The Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, located conveniently on beautiful Fifth Avenue.

The American Society of Portrait Artists Foundation
A not-for-profit foundation dedicated to the furthering the fine art of portraiture.
Founded in 1987 by Alabama portraitist Leon Loard, The American Society of Portrait Artists now has members in 50 states in 26 nations, and is by far the largest association in the world representing the portrait profession. The Society publishes a quarterly journal, The Portrait Signature, and maintains an active internet website through which members are able to communicate with the Society and each other. In 1999, the society established the American Society of Portrait

Directed by a board of artist members, the Foundation organizes and presents a year-round program of seminars and workshops conducted in association with some of the nation's leading art schools and academies, presents scholarships to qualified art students at these schools, and offers the Portrait Arts Festival, the portrait profession's premier national study conference.
