Travel Arrangements
The Society has made special arrangements with Fair Winds Travel and Delta Airlines to simplify your travel plans and to save you money. All participants are encouraged to make air travel arrangements through the exclusive travel agent of ASOPA and ASOPAF. Call Ann Schaum of Fair Winds Travel at 800-228-4155 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CST. You may be eligible for a 10% discount off the lowest publicized fare if your reservations are placed by March 31, 2001. (You may also choose Fair Winds Travel make your hotel arrangements but the special discounted rates on the hotels will not be available.)
Lodging
Special group rates have been negotiated with several fine hotels in the area. Please click here for a listing of these hotels.. When reserving your room, remember to identify yourself by the group name American Society of Portrait Artists.
Room Sharing
If you are attending the Festival alone and wish to share a room and expense with another person, the Society will provide you with the names of other persons who desire the same. Please call the |
Society office at 800-622-7672 for this list so that you can make the necessary arrangements.
Awards Dinner
The 2001 Portrait Arts Festival Dinner will be June 9 in the main dining room of the prestigious New York Athletic Club with a beautiful view of Central Park. The New York Athletic Club is located at 180 Central Park South, 59th Street. (Coat and Tie required.) Seating is limited to 400 people. Make your reservations early.
Awards Dinner Tickets. Tickets for the Saturday evening
awards dinner are purchased separately ($65). Non-participating
guests are invited to attend the awards dinner.
Festival Tuition. You may pay the full
tuition of $375 when you register, or you may make a $100 deposit,
with the balance due by May 7, 2000. |
