RICHARD SCHMID
Richard Schmid is one of the most admired painters in the world today. He has had thirty one-man shows. Since 1958 he has won every major art award in the United States, including the $100,000 National Arts in the Parks award in 1988. His work has been exhibited in important museums and galleries around the world. His latest book, Alla Prima - Everything I know About Painting, was published in 1988.
